Vasteras 2026
Would you like to visualize our vision?
We have just embarked on an exciting journey, the trip to Västerås in 2026 - the city without limits.
Our new vision adopted across all party lines offers many challenges and opportunities.
It is just that imprecise that a vision should be.
No concrete measures, but is a direction that indicates in which direction we should go.
For a vision to become reality, the knowledge of its existence spread.
We believe that Culture Night September 18 is the appropriate venue to tell the accommodation are the contents of the vision.
And since there are cultural activities, we want to talk about our vision by those who are kulturbetare.
What ideas and thoughts you get the vision Västerås in 2026? How would you illustrate the vision? Through art, music, dance, theater, or in any other form?
Post suggestions on how you and maybe some medkreatörer, would be willing to visualize our vision for Culture Night!
A jury will then select the premium in a unique and creative way best conveys Vasteras 2026th
A further mission is to complement, also producing a material that can serve as a traveling exhibition in different contexts and in different locations, over the next few years.
You can decide if you submit ideas on one or on both missions.
We also want you to roughly specify a price tag of the contributions you submit.
The jury will consist of Mayor Monica Ericsson, Acting Communications Manager Susanne Ovmark, Board strategist Ulla Arvidsson Culture, Sport and Recreation Board Staff, Mats Field CuLTUREN and Jonas Bresser Växhuset.
A vision text, a film and a brochure about the vision can be found on our website via this link:
